Shawnee United Methodist Church’s varied groups of hand bell players:
· Include five different groups for children through adults
· Rehearse from September through May
· Play for Sunday morning services (both 8:10 a.m. and 10:50 a.m.) several times each year
· Offer childcare during rehearsals when requested

Joyous Ringers
· Welcome children grades 2-6
· Rehearse Sunday mornings from 8:45-9:20 a.m.

Peace Ringers
· Welcome youth grades 7-12
· Include new and experienced ringers
· Rehearse Sunday afternoons from 4:00-5:00 p.m.

Chancel Chimes
· Welcome adults with music reading experience
· Rehearse Monday evenings from 6:00-7:00 p.m.

Mission Bells
· Welcome adults with music reading experience
· Focus on “mission” ringing in various area health, retirement, and care centers
· Rehearse Wednesday afternoons from 4:45-5:30 p.m.

Vesper Chimes
· Welcome adult and youth ringers capable of intermediate/advanced ringing
· Rehearse Wednesday evenings from 6:00-7:15
