United Methodists have a vital Christianity based upon a balanced view in all
matters. Within our congregation you are likely to find people who have a
“conservative” religious view, while others may be very “liberal” in terms of
their orientation to the Bible, revealed religion and how they see organized
religion. The dynamic of so wide a range of thinking makes for a very healthy
congregation. We value each other and our differing opinions on what are not
essentially our core beliefs.
What then are our core beliefs?
We believe in the Bible and We believe in God.
We believe in Jesus Christ and We believe in the Holy Spirit.
We believe people are important!
We believe in the Cross and We believe in forgiveness of sins.
We believe in victory through disciplined living and We believe in the centrality of love.
We believe in conversion, assurance, and scriptural holiness.
We believe in the church and We believe in the Kingdom of God.
We believe in life everlasting and We believe in you and God’s gift of love to all of us.
If you are in agreement, or if you would like to grow into the person God has in
mind for you, all you need to do is love the Lord and join us in participating in
the joy of a new life responding to His love for you.
