Chancel Choir:
Chancel Choir is a group of volunteer singers
including adults of all ages and senior high youth. There are no auditions;
music reading skills are helpful, but not required. The choir leads the
congregation in worship music from the first Sunday after Labor Day until
the last Sunday in June.
It has become a tradition for this choir to present a
Festival of Lessons and Carols on the third Sunday of Advent. Sometimes the
choir presents programs in the spring, during Lent or Eastertide. Members of
the choir have participated in the annual Harmony Celebration Concert.
Regular rehearsals for Chancel Choir are in the sanctuary
on Wednesday evenings from 7:30-9:00 PM. Child care is available. Nancy Hegge is the accompanist.
Men's Chorus and Women's Choir:
A Men's Chorus and Women's Choir rehearse and sing
once or twice each church year. These groups welcome both Chancel Choir
singers and others who are not regular members of the choir.
